Pathways High First Student Podcast & Nov. 8th Startup Pitch Day

The Lubar Entrepreneurship Center and Pathways High have been collaborating over the last several weeks to help students develop major components of entrepreneurship including ideation, creating a value proposition, customer discovery, financing, and pitching as part of Pathways’ Entrepreneurship IMPACT Program. This Wednesday, November 8th from 10:00-11:45am, students will present their business model canvas and digital pitch deck to the public!

This presentation and Pathways’ Entrepreneurship IMPACT Week coincides with Wisconsin Startup Week, November 6 – 12. In addition to this pitch event, Pathways High students will also interact with a variety of entrepreneurs across multiple industries to learn about the startup experiences of others culminating with a community service day on Friday, Nov. 10 called Pathways High Serves. This service day brings together groups of students that will give back to others in the community in the following ways:

1) Assembling 200 bagged lunches at the Guest House
2) Working at the Hunger Task Force Farm
3) Making fleece blankets for children at the Ronald McDonald House
4) Building outdoor chairs for donation
5) Assisting in the adult day and children’s day care center at St. Anne’s
6) Writing holiday cards for the elderly at St. Anne’s

Here’s a sneak peak pitch from Pathways High startup, EcoCycle. We hope this will entice you to join us on their pitch event 11/8 from 10-11:45am at Pathways High.
